A+ Certification All-in-One Exam Guide
by Michael Meyers, Scott Jernigan
Hardcover: 1176 pages ; Dimensions (in inches): 2.74 x 9.46 x 7.44
Publisher: McGraw-Hill Osborne Media; 5th edition (October 31, 2003)
Comment: I am currently teaching the A+ course and this mean coverage of the newest CompTIA exams, the 220-231 and 220-232. The material in these updated exam requires the best possible training guide and once again Mike Meyers is leading the pack.... In the over 1100 pages there is the complete exams right before you. This book is one of the first I have seen to cover all the Operating Systems including Windows Me and NT (as well as XP), again Meyers take you beyond the standard cut off point.

Pete Moulton's A+ Training Course: A Digital Seminar on CD-ROM (2nd Edition)
Paperback: 234 pages ; Dimensions (in inches): 2.79 x 9.58 x 7.34
Publisher: Prentice Hall PTR; ISBN: 0130356484; 2nd Bk&cdr edition (February 22, 2002)
Comment: The training kit has 2 cd's that have over 6 hours of training videos available to view and review at your pace. The speaker(s) are easily understood and the clarity is very good as well. This kit makes a perfect companion to Peter's A+ book, and it is included in e-format on the cd.

A+ Certification and PC Repair Guide (2nd Edition)
by Pete Moulton
Hardcover: 450 pages ; Dimensions (in inches): 1.89 x 9.48 x 7.20
Publisher: Prentice Hall; ISBN: 0130652032; 2nd edition (January 15, 2002)
Comment: While this edition is smaller that the previous one, don't let that sway you into thinking information may have been left out. Almost the opposite is true as I see every exam objective given more than enough coverage.

A+ Adaptive Exams
Paperback: 365 pages ; Dimensions (in inches): 0.95 x 9.26 x 7.38
Publisher: Charles River Media; ISBN: 1584500654; Bk&Cd-Rom edition (March 18, 2002)
Comment:This book, while only 360 pages, makes a great addition to my technical library and an excellent reference manual to work with before taking the actual exams. The book covers both sets of objectives and gives you the ability to learn as you test.
