After reading the reviews here about this book, I was very curious what all of the hubb-bub was about. Upon completing this book, I was totally amazed. This is a no-frills, down-to-the-point, in-your-face book that covers all of the necessary points to pass the NT Server 4 exam.

The best test of a book is whether or not you would buy another by the same author(s), I'm doing an MCSE + Internet( 9 exams), NRP will make a bit of money off me.

With its Fast Fact, I can recap all the important points in each chapter. The exercises are challenging. Get it quick. Look at the authors and you know that your money is worth spent on this book.
	Microsoft Windows NT 4 Server Resource Kit Paperback, 2500 pages, Microsoft Publishing $149.95 normally $119.96 through Amazon.com Comment: The resource kit is a absolute necessity for any NT admins, or NT tech's. Covers the registry, and the inner workings of the OS. The certification class (#922) will not cover all that this includes. This should be considered part of the cost of NT for anyone who makes their money off of it.
	Windows NT Server 4 Test Prep 2nd Edition 391 pages, New Riders $19.99 normally $16.99 through Amazon.com Comment: information on monitoring optimization and conectivity is superb, and very clearly explained. I've passed my exam with 900 and have bought the Wks version...so good overall choice

I have two years practical experience and this book pulled together the rest of the information I needed. Great book and well written.
	McSe : Nt Server 4 in the Enterprise Study Guide (2nd Ed) Hardback, 800 pages, Sybex. $49.99 normally $34.99 through Amazon.com Comment: Good enough to pass the test! I read this book twice, did all the exercises and I passed the test with a 823/1000. The authors made an outstanding job explaining the trust relations, how local & global groups interact with each other and how to manage permissions for users on different domains. However, the authors need to work more on the performance & network monitoring chapters.

I passed 70-068 on the first try. I will go on and use the books from New Riders !

Edition Paperback, 492 pages, New Riders. $19.99 normally $16.99 through Amazon.com Comment: Well worth the money This was the first book in the series that I had bought. Having tried many types of training for different exams this turned out to be one of the best. I found the book to be harder than the actual exam, consequently I was well prepared. This was used as a final cram for 4 weeks prior to the exam and I achieved a pass mark of 913 when the actual pass mark required was only 784.
